Visually this is a clear golden, a typical “Champagne” color,glistening with a multitude of lively, pin-point bubbles.
The nose is a bit discreet at first, then opens to offer aromas ofalmonds and buttery biscuit with a touch of lemon.
After a few minutes in the glass full-bodied fragrances of cookedpears and honey swirl from the glass.
In the mouth the attack isimmediately silky and caressing and the sensation is extended with acreamy, fluid mid-palate.
This cuvee represents a great success in adifficult vintage, which was especially difficult at harvest time.
The 2017 vintage has reached maturity and is read to enjoy now, and willkeep its balance until 2025. Perfect for aperitif, it will also marvelshellfish and fish foams, vegetables, or mushrooms, fresh pasta, or Fontainebleau cheese.
